Free Training for Attorneys
Free training for attorneys titled: How to Make a Living and Help Homeowners in Foreclosure
The training will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011, at HAP, Inc., 322 Main Street, Springfield, MA, from 9am - 1:30pm.
There are many legal remedies available to help homeowners facing foreclosure, but not enough attorneys to bring these claims. Although prevailing parties in these cases can recover damages, attorney’s fees and costs, most homeowners facing foreclosure find it difficult to obtain legal representation.
If you are interested in expanding your legal practice and learning more about helping homeowners and your community you should attend this training. Experienced attorneys from around the state will be present to share their expertise in helping distressed homeowners.
Topics and Presenters include:
• LITIGATING TITLE ISSUES: David Grossman, Esq., Managing Attorney, Harvard Legal Aid Bureau
• LITIGATING MODIFICATION ISSUES: Andrea Park, Esq., Staff Attorney, Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Massachusetts
• ATTORNEY FEES: Joel Feldman, Esq., Heisler, Feldman, McCormick and Garrow, P.C.
