HUD will hold a public event on July 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield City Hall. John Trasviña, HUD Assistant Secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, will discuss HUD assistance and fair housing issues for the communities affected by the disaster. On Wednesday, June 22, 2011, there will be a dial-a-lawyer program at WNEC. Volunteers will take calls from victims between 10:00 a.m. and 6 p.m. on the disaster relief Dial-A-Lawyer hotline, (413) 782-1659.
This program is sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Hampden County Bar Association and Western New England School of Law.
